The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

What this website does today

• Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
• Text and background colors meet the contrast levels the guidelines ask for.
• Text can be enlarged in your browser without content being lost or overlapping.
• Form fields have visible labels, and errors are explained in words next to the field concerned.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Motion is switched off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
• Page headings follow a logical order, so screen reader users can navigate by heading.
